Our fully equipped facility provides the following capabilities for precision threaded parts:
- Standard and non-standard threads, to specifications
- Custom length and OD to specifications
- Steel and stainless steel alloys
- Tight tolerances
- Secondary finishing including cross-holes
- Centerless grinding
Our equipment inventory includes a variety of thread cutting machines. We have hundreds of taps and dies in stock. We grind threads, chase threads, mill threads and roll threads. Many of our machines have been retrofitted to cut much more advanced thread forms. For our clients with larger diameter requirements we have specially adapted CNC lathes that can handle most standard and special thread forms. We routinely cut ACME threads, SQUARE threads, and TRAPIZIODAL threads as well as all forms of V-threads. Our CMM can inspect many aspects of your custom threads. GBF can also perform pre and post machining services on your threaded or non-threaded parts.
Our ISO 9001:2009 Rev C certified facility houses advanced technology 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers as well as state-of-the-art I.D., O.D., and thread grinding equipment capable of fabricating complex parts to the most stringent tolerances.
